When we value something for what it is, it can easily become something we worship or idolize. The Bible helps us learn the way that God views things, and helps us adjust our perspective to match His. Money is one of the things we hear about, interact with, and use a lot. We place great value on having money to provide, purchase, and prepare, but the value of money should come from what it does, not what it is. Money exposes what’s in our heart, changes us for good when we invest in the right places, connects our heart to things that matter, fuels the direction and destination of our life and faith, and reveals our priorities.
