CONTENDING TO CONTINUE

Series: Colossians

Audio Download

In Colossians chapter 2, Paul writes of his hopes and goals for the church in Colossae, and prays for them to faithfully continue. The Colossian church was surrounded by different thoughts and beliefs that Paul wanted to bring attention to, and his advice was simple: “continue to live your lives in Jesus.” When we continue to focus on faith, on Jesus alone, we avoid the distractions of culture, find strength to endure difficult times, seek growth over feeling stagnant, and continually practice commitment and surrender to Jesus as Lord of our lives. Starting is exciting; continuing is everything.
