“On Being Responsible” A Coin with Two Sides – Philippians 4:5, January 13th – Sermon with Pastor Jim Hicks
This is a great story: When Jesus was on a retreat with His disciples, He had an interesting exchange with a woman who was considered a way-outsider from their culture. She is described as a Syrophoenician. We are so fortunate to have this recorded for us so we can learn how to be “reasonable.” Why should we be reasonable? What are the benefits? Join us as we learn together from God’s Word. This week look ahead to Mark 7:24-30.
“New Year–New Mindset” Pt. 2 – January 20th – Sermon with Pastor Dave Phillips
Since we are beginning a new year, we are going to continue examining how we can develop a new mindset. What is your mindset toward forgiveness? Forgiveness is not a natural human response. God wants us to learn how to forgive and he shows us how through a New Testament book called Philemon. I encourage you to read the short, 25 verses and come prepared to let God do through you what you could never do on your own.
The ON-CALL PASTORS for the week of January 13th are Jeret Lockhart and Jim Hicks. To reach one of these pastors call the church at 406-542-0353 (press 4).
