Weekly Meetings

There are many opportunities for adults to connect:  connect groups, senior group, college/university student groups and more.

Investing in each other

Our connect groups (for all ages) are designed to cultivate our relationships in Christ through fellowship and Bible study.

Our ministry opportunities include our food bank, our annual Easter production, assisting our nearby elementary school and many more opportunities.

Connection Groups

When you enter the work world, you hear “it is all about your connections.” In part, this is very true. We do become like those we connect with; we learn from them and make meaningful contributions to one another.

Genesis makes it clear that we are created in the image of God. This means we are hard-wired for connection and relationships with one another, in addition to Him. We need to seek and develop these connections. Connecting is not optional. It is…

  • A command of Scripture
  • An example of unity
  • Evidence of a Christ-follower
  • A catalyst for witnessing of Christ

The purpose of connecting is to cultivate our relationships in Christ and to contribute to those around us for His Kingdom.  Therefore, the question is not if we should connect; it is how and when will we connect.  Contact Pastor Jim Hicks to learn about the many weekly and special event groups that may appeal to you.

Cultivating, Caring, Connections

Here at Christian Life Center, we believe women are meant to fellowship together and grow in the knowledge of God together. We believe that it is vital to build relationships between women and form a bond that allows for spiritual growth. Our women’s ministry is built on caring for one another and meeting the needs of those around us. It is important that we are one body of Christ in our city so therefore we strive to connect with other women in other churches through various outreach events.

Easter Alive

Passion Play

Easter Production

The “Easter Alive” Passion Play has been a part of the culture at Christian Life Center for over 25 years. With over 5,000 people in attendance each year, this musical drama has grown to be a wonderful part of Missoula and the surrounding area’s culture.

Each year, a new script is written. While always telling the events of the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus, we will also, tell the story or stories of other biblical characters whose lives were affected by Jesus.

Senior Groups

Christian Life Center believes in Seniors. Your age factor does not lessen your value to ministry or importance in life. Seniors are a tremendous asset to the church and to the community. They have gone through life’s experience of raising their families, living through hard times at home or at the work place during emergencies, sickness, or losing their spouse. They are ‘Warriors of the Faith’ with Gems of Wisdom, who have learned patience and understanding with a loving and listening heart for families, spouses, kids, and grandchildren. They have been there. They know and have the time.

These are some of the activities available for Seniors:

Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at CLC:  Join the Golden Heirs each week to sing your favorite old hymns, learn spiritual truths in a short message, and enjoy a time of fellowship. Road trips, dinners, and other social activities are also scheduled. The seniors who frequent the Golden Heirs welcome persons of all ages and walks of life to participate.

University Groups

We are a Christian missional outreach to students at The University of Montana. There are over 300 Chi Alpha (or XA, for short) campus groups in the U.S., along with many chapters around the world. During the school year, Pursuit (our weekly gathering) meets every Wednesday at 7:30pm in the Urey Lecture Hall. Chi Alpha desires to be a community of worship and mission on the campus of UM.

Our mission is to reconcile students to Christ, equipping them through spirit-filled communities of prayer, worship, fellowship, discipleship, and mission to transform the university, the marketplace and the world.
